It's so cute! Weaving is something new to me, but I've found it helps keep my head quiet and happy when my hands are busy doing something. I have made several little squares now, and I'm going to make so many more. Maybe some day I will have enough to tie all together into a big blanket or something!
There is nothing 'seconds' that I can see on this lovely loom!

This is such a great product and so well made! It really helps with my weaving.
There are plenty of weaving books out there, and plenty of YouTube tutorials. But it's not always useful to look at a video and try to work on your project, and if you're like me and have problems with mirroring, books are much preferred as Avenues to learn. Which is, of course, where this book comes in. You can tell that Lucy Jennings is a teacher, because her directions are clear, concise, and very reassuring. Even better, the book is spiral-bound so you never have to worry about losing your place and the book flipping closed when you accidentally drop yarn on it. 10 out of 10, do recommend.
When I pulled this lovely little loom out of the box, my daughter immediately took a liking to it. What's not to like? It came with a warp already on, and she loves miniature things. 3 weeks later, I still haven't had a chance to try the loom, so I'm going to have to get my own. Oh, what a tragedy! Having to buy a new loom. Thank goodness Lucy is here to feed my new obsession.
I know my loom was listed as seconds, but I honestly can't see anything about it that isn't perfect. It's the largest Loom I have by far, and it's going to give me the most room to work on new projects. Is it a little ambitious for a novice? Maybe. But after watching Lucy's tutorials and YouTube videos, I feel like it's definitely possible for me to make something beautiful on this loom. I am very much looking forward to working with it. So far I've only managed to put the warp on, but I can see possibilities when I look at it that I can't see on my smaller looms. Can't wait to try it!

This little book with such clear pictures really came into use when I was struggling with doing shapes on my larger tapestry loom. (Arris). I am also looking forward to using this book as a small reference book while traveling with the smaller looms.
